Our Focus.

Youth Great Southern invests in initiatives that strengthen wellbeing, connection, and opportunity for young people across the Great Southern. Our focus is shaped by the needs of our region and the belief that every young person deserves access to support close to home.

We fund projects that create safe spaces, improve access to services, and make life easier for young people experiencing disadvantage. By supporting local organisations and community-led initiatives, we help build a stronger, more connected future for young people aged 12–25.

What guides our work

Our focus is informed by three core principles:

1. Safe, welcoming spaces

Young people need places where they feel supported, respected, and connected. We invest in projects that create environments where young people can access help, build relationships, and feel part of their community.

2. Access to support

Regional living can mean fewer services and greater barriers. We fund initiatives that improve access to wellbeing, engagement, and support programs — ensuring young people can get help when and where they need it.

3. Strong local partnerships

We work alongside organisations, community groups, and service providers who understand the needs of young people in our region. Our role is to strengthen their work through philanthropic support.
